Hunton’s Geoffrey Fehling Appointed to Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Financial Services Leadership Council

Boston-based insurance coverage partner Geoffrey Fehling has been appointed to the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Financial Services Leadership Council.

The Chamber’s Leadership Councils—focusing on topics like climate and energy, health care and life sciences, and higher education—draw together select groups of business leaders with an interest in specific policy areas to connect with one another, share ideas and perspectives, and help inform and develop the Chamber’s policy positions. The Financial Services Leadership Councill works to identify competitiveness issues impacting the Greater Boston financial services industry and formulates policies to address those issues. Members include individuals from the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, banks, insurers, investment managers, and law firms, among others.

On the Leadership Council, Geoff will leverage his extensive experience advising private equity firms, portfolio companies, funds, banks, and other companies in the financial sector on cutting-edge insurance issues, especially in the area of directors and officers (D&O) and management liability insurance. He is a prolific author and thought leader on insurance and risk management topics and frequently speaks and writes on emerging insurance issues impacting the financial services industry.
